Integrating KnoCommerce with Zapier allows you to automate workflows across over 8k unique apps using your Kno survey data.
Here's an example of a KnoCommerce + Slack Zap:
Follow the step-by-step guide below to connect KnoCommerce to Zapier.
Quick Note: Most Zaps will require use of Zapier's formatting tool, which requires a paid Zapier plan. Not 100% necessary for simple surveys, but worth keeping in mind if you need to adjust the payload!

Obtain Your Client ID and Client Secret from KnoCommerce
Navigate to Settings
Navigate to API Access
Click on the "+" symbol to create a new API entry. This will create a Client ID and Client Secret you'll use later for Zapier
Name: Set this to anything you'd like, but we recommend "Zapier"
URL: Set this to "https://app.knocommerce.com/"
Permissions: Select all
Save
Click on the pencil icon next to your newly created API entry
Copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Keep these handy, as you'll enter them into Zapier in the next steps
Connect Zapier
To connect KnoCommerce, you can either use Zapier’s My Apps section or start creating a new Zap.
The easiest way is to click “Create Zap” in Zapier, which opens the Zap editor.
For the trigger step (the first step of your Zap), search for “KnoCommerce” as the app.
Select KnoCommerce from the search results.
If this is your first time setting up KnoCommerce, Zapier will recognize that you need to connect your KnoCommerce account. Click the option to “Connect a new account” (or a similar prompt) to begin linking Zapier to KnoCommerce.
In the pop-up window, enter your Client ID and Client Secret values from KnoCommerce
Continue
After submitting your credentials, Zapier will attempt to connect to KnoCommerce. If everything was entered correctly, you should see a confirmation that your KnoCommerce account is now connected to Zapier
You're ready to go!
Formatting Your Payload
For almost all survey platforms, data passes into Zapier as comma delineated strings. For example, if your survey had three questions, and received the responses:

This is how that would look in Zapier:

To effectively make use of those survey response values, you'll need to use Zapier's Formatter tool. Here's what we recommend:
Open your Zap
Click "Add Step" between the KnoCommerce Trigger and your selected Action(s)
Select "Formatter"
Select the Action Event "Utilities"
On the next page, select "Line-item to text"
Test
Continue with setting up your Zap!
You'll now have individual values for each of your responses that you can use in your Zapier Actions! See this flow in action below:
