About Klar

Klar is a powerful attribution tool that uses first-party data to track customer journeys and measure channel performance. However, first-party data alone doesn’t always capture the full picture.
KnoCommerce bridges the gap by providing zero-party data—valuable customer insights such as discount code usage and post-purchase survey responses. These insights help fill in the blanks, offering a deeper understanding of your conversion drivers.

How Kno data is used in Klar
Once integrated, Kno data enriches Klar’s attribution reports by combining survey responses and discount code insights with first-party tracking.
Examples of how this data can be used:
Identify which channels are driving first-touch and last-touch conversions.
Attribute discount codes to specific campaigns or channels.
Validate tracking data using customer-reported insights from surveys.
KnoCommerce Integration
Step 1: Settings Page
After logging into KnoCommerce, click the Settings option on the menu on the bottom left-hand side of the page.
Step 2: Integrations Page
After clicking Settings, click the Integrations link at the top of the page.
Step 3: Klar Integration
On the Integrations page, click the Klar Integration to connect
Step 4: Enable Klar
Then click the Enable Integration button.
Step 5: Copy/Paste Client ID & Client Secret
This will create the Client ID and Client Secret that you will need to push the data into Klar from KnoCommerce. The screen will look similar to this screenshot (your keys will be unique to your store).
Step 6: Follow Klar Steps
Once you have the above Client ID and Secret, follow Klar's Help Doc instructions to finalize your data integration!
