Automated Insights is uniquely designed to provide comprehensive insights into your customer base, helping you understand their demographics, purchasing motivations, and behaviors. By utilizing standardized data, it facilitates benchmarking and enables privacy-friendly, anonymous data sharing across a large network of survey respondents.

Data Collection and Insights

Mandatory Data Points

Participants are required to include all the following questions in their surveys. These questions are integral to the insights generated by the platform.

  1. Purchase Mindset: Is your customer trying to fit in, solve a problem, or something else?

  2. Spending Habits (spender vs. saver): Gauge the price sensitivity and spending tendencies of your customers.

  3. Shopping Preferences (discount vs. full price): Identify customer preferences for discounted or full-priced items.

  4. Social Network Usage: Determine the most popular social networks used by your customers.

  5. Recent Purchase Change: Understand if your customers have spent more or less than normal in the last 30 days.

  6. Future Purchase Expectation: Learn if they expect to spend more or less in the next 90 days.

  7. Economic Outlook (perception of the economy's future): To assess how customers' economic outlook might impact their spending behavior.

  8. Where Spend Money Online: Let your customer tell you if they spend more money on Amazon, marketplaces, or direct from brand sites.

  9. Household Shopping Dynamics (who buying consumables for): To gain insights into household purchasing behavior and consumer responsibilities.

  10. Age: To understand the age distribution of your customers for demographic segmentation.

  11. Gender: To analyze gender demographics and their impact on purchasing patterns.

  12. Online Discovery Driving Purchase: What channels/sources are driving new product discovery.

  13. Purchase Motivators (price, value, fear, social pressure, etc.): To uncover the key factors that drive your customers' purchasing decisions.

What insights can I expect from the platform?

You'll gain comprehensive insights on customer demographics, purchasing motivations, economic outlooks, spending habits, social media usage, and shopping behaviors.

How is customer data shared?

If a customer who shops with you answers these questions on another site, their responses will be included in an anonymous, aggregated pool of data. This is not yet live, but ultimately your insight reach will go beyond your website.

Can I customize the survey questions?

The survey questions are standardized and cannot be edited to ensure consistency and reliability in the data collected.

How are the insights delivered?

Insights will be presented in an interactive dashboard, providing a user-friendly interface for data analysis.

What happens after the beta phase?

Post-beta, the pricing model will be fully established, and there may be expansions in data points and insights offered.

Anything else I should know?

As an extension of this project we're launching a survey panel so we can deliver research beyond your website. When someone answers the survey they'll be asked if they want to learn more about the survey panel.
