Make sure to familiarize yourself with the Audiences help doc as the foundation for this help doc. And also check out the Filtering Audiences help doc to see a slightly different function of this feature.
Create a Survey or Enter Survey Builder
Once you have created the Audiences that you'd like to use, go to the Surveys Page and '+Create survey' at the top right of the page.
From there you need to choose build the survey from scratch, or from a Template. Once you've built the survey out - see this article for more help with that, or you can click into the survey listed and then "Edit" if you are wanting to edit an existing survey's audience, you can head over to the "Channels" section of the survey builder.
Choose the Channel for your Survey
Depending on if you are a custom embed store, or on Shopify, you'll want to either click into the "Embed in Shopify's checkout page" or the "Embed in a web page" option.
The share with a link channel will not have a targeting audience option, more on that here!
Choose Target Audience
All you have to do now is select the audience from the drop down available! The default will always to set to showing to everyone. As a reminder, you need to create the audience in our Audiences section first in order to use them! More instructions on that can be found here.
Audience Target Behavior
When our survey script loads on your order confirmation page, we will check to see if the customer meets the audience criteria i.e. are they a new customer, did they purchase a particular product, or are they from a German-speaking country, etc.
If they meet the criteria, then we will show them the survey. If they do not meet the criteria, then they won't see a survey on that page.

Note: A customer who has completed a survey, will not see that survey again upon returning to a confirmation page.
